The foods friendly to our skin

I cibi amici della nostra pelle

Taking care of your skin with various cosmetic products is good, but completing it with care that starts from within is even better.

"Our skin indeed needs to be pampered, starting with the choice of healthy foods that support the well-being of our body and our skin."

Pumpkin, tomato, blue fish, dried fruit, and green tea; let's discover together how these 5 foods will help your skin look healthy, radiant, and youthful!

Pumpkin

Pumpkin, in addition to being a very loved food, contains vitamin A which stimulates cell renewal. It deeply hydrates, contributing to healthier and more radiant skin. The beta-carotene contained within it then acts by normalizing sebum production. Finally, pumpkin is also an excellent ally against acne as it helps keep pores clean; in particular, pumpkin seeds are rich in zinc, whose deficiency is often the basis for the appearance of acne.

Tomato

The tomato is rich in Vitamin C, the main responsible for the production of collagen and hyaluronic acid. Collagen, particularly loved in the cosmetic field, works to make the skin extremely elastic and strong. Hyaluronic acid, on the other hand, contributes to the beauty of our skin and for this reason, it is also contained in quality cosmetic products.

Finally, the tomato also contains one of the most powerful antioxidants: lycopene, which, among other benefits, protects against the risk of sunburn.

Blue Fish

Salmon, mackerel, anchovies, and sardines. Blue fish contains Omega 3, which are the so-called "good" fats that provide protection against harmful external agents such as UV rays, keeping the skin's hydrolipidic film intact. Blue fish is also rich in minerals and vitamin A, which help the well-being of the body and skin by stimulating cell renewal.

Dried Fruit

With its vitamin E, dried fruit not only tastes good, but it is also a friend to your skin thanks to its antioxidant properties.

Omega 3, which as we have seen are found in blue fish, are also widely present in dried fruit, particularly in walnuts, almonds, and hazelnuts. These foods help ensure proper hydration not only of the skin but also of the hair.

Green Tea

This hot beverage boasts numerous antioxidants, enzymes, and B vitamins. All these components work on our complexion, combating signs of aging and the appearance of pimples and other skin imperfections. Among the other benefits of green tea is also the elimination of skin toxins and the reduction of inflammation with a strong counteracting mechanism activated against spots and scars.

As we have seen, adopting a healthy diet is essential not only for the well-being of our body but also for our skin. Don't forget that finding the right balance is important to be healthy and look beautiful!
