Dry and marked eye contour mask: Honey and Yogurt
Honey with its emollient and antioxidant properties and yogurt, capable of nourishing the skin, can work effectively together to hydrate the delicate area around the eyes and give a young and fresh look.
How to prepare it:
- take two tablespoons of honey and place it in a bowl or saucer. Add a teaspoon of yogurt and mix everything very well.
- for a further boost, you can also choose to add two or three drops of a vegetable oil, such as extra virgin olive oil or sweet almond.
- once you have obtained a homogeneous mixture, apply on the affected area and leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water
This mask can also be stored in the refrigerator for a couple of days. The freshness of the mixture obtained after leaving it in the refrigerator also further decongest the area. Finally, this mask can also be used effectively on the rest of the face!
Eye contour mask with obvious bags: Sweet Almond Oil and Chamomile
For a particularly puffy eye area, two essential beauty allies are almond oil and chamomile. These two ingredients are able to deflate the area below the eye, thanks to their effective mechanisms of action: chamomile has soothing and decongestant properties, almond oil provides hydration to the entire area.
How to prepare it:
The preparation procedure of this mask is very simple and can be summarized in three steps:
- First, take a tablespoon of sweet almond oil and massage the eye contour area with your fingers. Leave on for a few minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare the chamomile: heat a saucepan with a little water, and once brought to a boil, leave two chamomile sachets to infuse for about 5 minutes.
- Then wait for the chamomile to cool down and at that point go to apply the sachets directly over the eyes. The cold, combined with the decongestant properties of the ingredients, will be a real cure-all for the eyes.
Eye contour mask and puffy eyes: tea bags and coconut oil
Tea bags, especially those of black or green tea, help to relax the eye area and around the eyes, also acting as anti-aging treatments. Coconut oil, on the other hand, is soothing, moisturizing and rich in vitamins E. This combination is therefore perfect for deflating the eyes and moisturizing the skin.
How to prepare it:
- Apply plenty of coconut oil to the eye contour and eyelids, gently massaging the entire area. You can also help yourself with a cotton swab.
- Boil a saucepan of water and then leave the two tea bags to infuse for a few minutes.
- Once the infusion and the sachets have become cold but still moist, you can proceed by applying them directly to the eyes. Keep on for about 15 minutes.
After trying this mask, your eyes will be more deflated and your skin much more hydrated, thanks to the rich complex of antioxidants and vitamins contained in these ingredients.
